Thermo-shrinking foil packing and wrapping machines
The thermo shrink film packaging machines are packing and securing the load using a film which is thermo shrunk after it is placed on the stack.
Basically, the film cut to measures is placed lightly to cover the goods and the pallet, the stack is placed after that on an electric or gas oven zone, where this film, under the thermo action, adheres exactly to the shape of the stack (also to the pallet if this is required).

Automatic shrink packing machines
The automatic shrink packing machines with thermo-contractible film are in-line equipment, which are integrated to conveyor lines.
The automated machines with thermo film are suited for packaging the stack load goods, and can be used together with palletizers, plastic boxes dispensers or pallet magazines, automatized weighting/labeling/scanning, shuttle systems, etc.
A single machine combines the function of placing the film on the stack load (for the semi-automated machines, this part is done by operators) with the thermo-contractibility one.
This packaging method decreases the general quantity of film used for packaging, increases the productivity, is adaptable to various pallet dimensions and any load type.
One of the main advantages is that only a single pack is used per stack, meaning only one bag made from thermo sensitive film, instead of top cover film for the upper part of the stack plus film wrap for the sides, combining this way 2 operations and 2 machines, into a single one.
The temperature can be adjusted and controlled by operators. Work speed can be adjusted depending on the packaging flow.
To increase the stability of the stack after packing, some models have the option to adjust the height covered by the thermo shrinkable film, so the film part will cover also the pallet from the base of the stack.

The packaging machines with thermo shrink film are semi-automatic and automatic, some models combining the shrink hooding with the thermo-contractibility function.
