The advantages of the horizontal individual wrapping machines are:

The horizontal wrapping machine is suitable for areas with a high volume of products with various dimensions and weights up to 160 kg, which need individual wrapping and packaging. It is available in two models: semi-automatic and fully automatic. There can be easily wrapped heavy pieces for automotive, like different engines, pumps, gearboxes or electronic components.

The protecting individual wrapping machine has a horizontal platform onto which the cardboard or plastic layer is placed together with the product, an automatic wrapping zone and a box packing zone.

At the semi-automatic machine the product is manually placed onto the wrapping zone, while at the automatic wrapping machine, this operation is done using a conveyor.

The product is placed on a cardboard or a cellular polypropylene layer, and after, wrapped in plastic foil for a better fixing.

The wrapping program is automatically detected, depending on the dimensions of the cardboard or plastic layer.

    Automated horizontal wrapping machines with stretch film are robust equipment, used to wrap rapidly and in optimal conditions bulk products, items with atypical shapes or oversized dimensions, goods with high production volume or in case packing flow is constant or continuous.

    The presence of the operators is not needed to supervise the wrapping cycle, so they can be integrated also in the completely automated lines. The machines have photocells to scan and survey the products, system which helps for the automated start and stop of the work cycle. Most of the models have vertical pneumatic pressure systems to stabilize and fix the products during the wrapping program.

    Due to the models available on different ring diameter dimensions, the machines are compatible with a wide variety of products: spare parts and pieces, long metal profiles, tubes and pipes, cable rolls, tires, etc.

    Wrapping and conveyor speeds can be adjusted according to the application requests.

    For the automatized models, on the conveyor can be also installed lateral guiding for products. These guiding can be vertical or in V (for lung or round items).

    Another advantage of these machines is that, on specific models, there are programs which have a higher number of wrapping rotations at the ends of the products, in case is needed for these 2 areas to be highly secured than the middle part of the goods.

    In case it is not necessary to fully wrap the products, but only to group them for delivery/truck loading/transport stability (pipes, tubes, timber), there can be chosen equipment with special wrapping programs, only for the ends or the end and the middle of the items. For products which are very long and flexible, it can be picked a special program with additional reinforcement.

    These programs help to decrease the quantity of film used, which means optimized/reduced costs with packaging material and higher work speed. Beside this, the final volume of film waste is lower, which brings smaller costs with environment taxes, with waste disposal by the authorized companies, but it also promotes a sustainable activity by reducing the volume of the waste to be recycled.

    Semi automatic wrapping machines

    The semi-automated horizontal wrapping machines with stretch film are available in models with different passage ring diameters. They are suited for applications where the packing flow is not continuous, and the wrapping volume can be corelated with the operators’ work speed. On the same machine there can be wrapped products with oversized or atypical shapes, or are in multiple models during the same flow, from pieces or decorative objects, to parts or even complete furniture pieces, isolation panels, metal sheets, various piping and tubes, metal profiles, timber, tires in all the available dimensions, etc.

    In general, the wrapping cycle is controlled with a PLC, and is started by the operator by pressing the foot pedal. The wrapping speed is controlled with an inverter.

    Along the feeding area, wrapping zone and output part, the semi-automated wrapping machines have a conveyor. This one can have rolls or band, depending on the model or the customization solicitations. The conveyor height can be adjusted manually.

    The products are guided by the operator, but optionally there can be installed lateral vertical guiding rolls. These can be coated with PVC in case is needed protection for sensitive products, against eventual scratches.

    Also optionally, a vertical pneumatic press can be mounted before and after the ring, which stabilizes the products on the conveyor against their movement on laterals during the wrapping cycle.

    Another possible customization is the placement in V of  the conveyor, useful, for example, for the wrapping of the long or round products.

    Depending on the model, the machines are functioning with 125, 250 or 500 mm film roll widths.
